Mauritius Ranked 13th In The World By The World Bank In Ease Of Doing Business

The World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Report 2020 has ranked Mauritius at the 13th position in the world (out of a total of 190 countries). This landmark achievement is the island’s best ranking since 2007 – year in which the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Report was first presented. The country’s ease of doing business score is 81.5 (close to New Zealand, with a score of 86.8, being a reference). This recognition clearly demonstrates the competitiveness of Mauritius as a jurisdiction of substance within the African Continent and bolsters our position as the finest platform to do business in Africa.
